Stainless steel bar grating is a series of bearing bars joined to perpendicular cross bars at various intervals to form a load-bearing panel ideal for use as a pathway for pedestrian and lightweight rolling traffic, which includes carts, dollies, and hand trucks. With an open-grid construction, this grating type requires minimal maintenance and provides superior light passage, air circulation, and drainage.

Stainless Steel Grating is the best bar grating option for severely corrosive environments such as chemical, food, and hydro processing areas. It is available in Welded, Press-Locked, and Swaged construction and in several bearing bar sizes. Most common bearing bar and cross rod spacing is 19-4 (1-3/16" and 4", respectively). Most common material is Type 304 Stainless, however Type 316 Stainless is also available upon request.
